Just like Matt Lauer set-off today on his annual travel adventure, FuzziBunz is excited to announce we are taking our own trip around the globe (well, maybe just a tour of the U.S. first) with our “Where in the World is the FuzziCAM?” campaign.
Our FuzziCAM is hitting the road and visiting cloth diapering moms (and dads) across the country. We’re on a journey to meet 50 cloth diapering families.
Here’s how it works:
- A mom will receive the FuzziCAM and shoot footage of her home, city and family.
- She’ll also be asked to conduct a short Q&A session so we can really get to know each mom in-depth.
- When she’s done, the camera moves on to the next state and so on.
Our goal is to get a mom or dad from all 50 States!
We are working on a special feature on our website to track the location of the camera, so stay tuned for that. In the meantime, we’ll update the FuzziBunz Facebook page with our progress.
If you are interested in representing your state, email us at press@fuzzibunz.com.
And now we’d like to introduce you to our first mom - Celeste Seitz-Davis from Frisco, Texas!

Nanotechnology can mean many different things in many different industries and you likely need to be a chemist to understand it. However, our simple explanation is this:
During the waterproofing of the outer layer of fabric (PUL) on FuzziBunz cloth diapers, there is an extra finishing step which helps the fabric prevent leaks through the leg seams, as well as prevent overall wicking around the waist and legs to the outside of the diaper and clothing. Nanotechnology, which simply means smaller particles or fibers, is used in this finish to better protect the waterproofing of the fabric. Finishes have always been used, however most would wash out within 25 washes. The textile industry has been using this type of technology more and more over the last several years to add durability and performance to fabrics such as the ones used in our FuzziBunz cloth diapers.
What is most important for you to know is that FuzziBunz as a company would never use anything harmful in their products AND the diapers have all passed CPSIA testing for harmful chemicals. The finish that is applied that uses nanotechnology is OKEO-TEX 100 certified for use in baby textiles and this is the highest safety rating it can receive. We are extremely confident in the safety of this process and you should be as well.
With Gratitude,
Tereson Dupuy
CEO / Inventor

Cloth diapers are so useful. There are the obvious reasons, like they contain the messes our little monkeys make and keep their bottoms looking cute as can be. Cloth diapers are also great for the environment and can be cost saving.
But did you know that you can use cloth diapers to teach your children all about colors and even numbers?
Think about it, cloth diapers come in every color of the rainbow and then some. You can teach your little one all about colors using the stacks of folded diapers right in the changing station as the example.
Don’t forget counting and numbers too. How many diapers are in your stash? You can teach your tot to count to 10, 20, 30 (maybe even 50?!) by sorting diapers into piles and counting along together.
Every diaper change and laundry folding session can be a lesson. You’ll have baby identifying colors and numbers in no time.
Have you used cloth diapers to teach your children new skills?

Maybe you’ve known you wanted to cloth diaper before your babe was a twinkle in your eye, or perhaps the idea struck you mid-pregnancy. Either way, stocking up your stash before baby arrives is a great way to jump-start your cloth diapering endeavors.
Having friends and family contribute to your cloth collection helps you stockpile diapers faster than you can say “FuzziBunz.” Most expecting couples register for gifts and other essential baby gear prior to baby’s arrival, so why not add cloth diapers to your registry.
Here are some helpful hints for building up your stash before baby arrives:
- Do some research first to determine which styles, brands and types of cloth diapers are of interest to you. You may want to try out a few different types on baby before making a full commitment, but friends and family can get you started.
- Check that your favorite local baby boutiques or larger retailers carry cloth diapers and register there. Tell your friends and family where you are registered so they know where to go when buying shower and baby gifts.
- OR Create an online registry with retailers like Diapers.com, Amazon.com or Target.com (Target.com recently announced they will be expanding their FuzziBunz color collection). Keep an eye out for online specials and discounts and alert friends when these occur so they can take advantage of the cost savings.
- Throw a diaper shower – If you know which cloth diaper brands you plan on using specify on the invitations so your guests know your preferences.
- Don’t forget the accessories such as cloth wipes, diaper pails, liners and wetbags.
And to those skeptics giving you a hard time about cloth diapering, well they just might jump on the bandwagon when they see how cute, colorful and easy to use cloth diapers can be!
Did you register for your cloth diaper diapers or did you get your cloth diapers as a gift? Tell us more!

Spearmint is the newest color to be added to the FuzziBunz line.
Lafayette, Louisiana (June 15, 2011) – FuzziBunz® cloth diapers today announces the addition of the spearmint colored cloth diaper to its rainbow of fashionable color options. The spearmint color diaper will be part of the Funkadelic FuzziBunz® color line and available to consumers this week.
“We want parents to have fun with cloth diapering and what is more fun than having beautiful, vibrant colors of cloth diapers to choose from” says Tereson Dupuy, the founder and CEO of FuzziBunz® and known as the Mother of the Modern Cloth Diaper. “We are so excited to add the spearmint color to our line as this stylish and cool color continues to represent today’s modern and hip moms that are cloth diapering.”
The first pocket-style cloth diaper on the market, FuzziBunz® forever changed the cloth diapering world when it was introduced in 2000. Today, FuzziBunz® are available in One-Size and Perfect Size options. The One-Size diaper is one of the most adjustable cloth diapers on the market and is made to grow with a child from birth through toddlerhood. The patented FuzziBunz® design is not only stylish but prevents diaper rash by keeping baby’s skin dry and healthy.
Each FuzziBunz® cloth diaper retails for $21.95. To find an authorized FuzziBunz® retailer near you, please visit the “Where to Buy FuzziBunz®” page on FuzziBunz.com.
About FuzziBunz®
The patented FuzziBunz® cloth diapers are a modern, convenient and sustainable diapering solution for today’s busy parents. The reusable pocket cloth diapers ensure no leaks, no rash and no waste. FuzziBunz® diapers include three layers: 1) a waterproof outer barrier to keep wetness contained, 2) a soft microfleece inner layer that touches a baby’s skin and pulls away moisture, and 3) a unique, pocket-style opening that enables a parent to customize the absorbency using super absorbent micro-terrycloth pads. Stay-at-home-mom, Tereson Dupuy, invented FuzziBunz® in January 1999 in response to her infant son’s chronic diaper rash and her overall dissatisfaction with all available diapers. Tereson stitched the first FuzziBunz® in her home and a short time later, the modern cloth diapering movement was born. For more information about FuzziBunz® cloth diapers and accessories and to find a list of retailers, please visit www.FuzziBunz.com.
