Simply put, stay-at-home-mom Katie Taylor loves cloth diapering – and she doesn’t mind poop explosions either! Let’s get to know her a little better, shall we?
1. How did you first hear about FuzziBunz and modern cloth diapers?
I first heard about modern cloth diapers from a friend of mine who also cloth diapers. She kept telling me I should try it, but I was pretty skeptical about how easy it really was, but I decided to jump right. I went from disposables one day to completely using cloth the next and haven’t looked back! I first heard about FuzziBunz while at Cotton Babies. It was one of the first diapers I bought and love them. They make up the majority of my stash!
2. Why do you cloth diaper?
I cloth diaper because I love the idea of never having to throw away another diaper or wipe. I also love the fact that I can use these diapers for all my children because of the awesome one size feature!
3. Please share with us your best CD washing/caring tip
I always sun dry both my covers and inserts. The sun really does help with the staining and they always smell so fresh. This is the only laundry I look forward to doing!
4. What one word describes your parenting style?
Flexible
5. If you could be any TV or movie mom (real or character), who would it be and why?
I would have to say Roseanne because I love the way she handled difficult family situations with a little bit of humor, which I think is a really important quality. Without a little bit of humor in parenting things like huge poop blowouts might get a little overwhelming. Looking at the funny side of things like that helps me out!
