Today’s Monday Mama is Emily Boyd from the Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. She’s mom to four kiddos and one on the way – she’s got a full house! She hated cloth diapers at first but soon came to love them when she met FuzziBunz…
How did you first hear about FuzziBunz and modern cloth diapers?
Too be honest I never thought about doing cloth EVER. I hear people talking about it and being I have four kids under the age of 7, I thought it would be way to hard, too much of a mess and not worth the money you save.
I was online one day and saw an ad to win a few cloth diapers from another company so I thought I would just enter for the heck of it. I did and I won several diapers. I was going to just sell them or give them away but I thought I would just try the whole cloth diaper thing first. I tried them for a week and HATED it. They leaked all the time and it was horrible. At the same time someone else gave me eight fuzzibunz and I decided to try them instead and I fell in LOVE!! They worked awesome, fit awesome and were super easy to clean. Other diapers were SUPER bulky and didnt look right or fit well under pants, etc. The FuzziBunz are so trim and the colors are adorable. They never leaked and they wash so well and dry so quickly. I just LOVE them!
Why do you cloth diaper?
We cloth now because we save a TON of money and I truly enjoy it and LOVE the way FuzziBunz look!
Please share with us your best CD washing/caring tip!
I think the best tip is to rinse the diapers and keep the diapers wet until they are in the washer. I think they don’t stain that way and it
doesn’t smell bad!
What one word describes your parenting style?
CRAZY! 
If you could be any TV or movie mom (real or character), who would it be and why?
I would be kinda like the mom on 19 Kids and Counting. I don’t have anywhere near that many kids but I have similar views as her [Michelle Dugger] and I feel like I have “a ton of kids” even though I only have four and one on the way!
