April is Autism Awareness Month and as a mother of a child impacted by autism, FuzziBunz’s CEO, Tereson Dupuy, has committed herself to helping others impacted by autism too. In fact, this week, Dupuy is proud to announce that through the “Light It Up Blue” cloth diaper campaign, which launched in June 2011, the company has raised more than $13,000 for Autism Speaks™!
To honor Autism Awareness Month and to continue to encourage our community to support to this important cause, we invite you to join us for a contest on Pinterest.
When is it? On Monday, April 2, between 9am and 6pm EDT, we want you to join us to “Light Pinterest Up Blue” with images of your babies in our “Light It Up Blue” FuzziBunz cloth diaper or alternatively showing your support for autism in any way that’s meaningful to you.
How can I get involved? To participate, all you need to do is log into Pinterest on Monday, April 2 between 9am and 6pm EST and “pin” pictures of your child, niece, nephew or young friends wearing the “Light it Up Blue” cloth diaper, tagging @FuzziBunz in the caption so we can be sure to see it. If you have been impacted by autism, tell us your story in the photo caption. We will repin all qualified entrants to our Pinterest page too – so be sure to tag @FuzziBunz in your pin!
What if I don’t own a “Light It Up Blue” diaper? If you want to participate but do not own the blue diaper, post a picture that alternatively shows your support for autism awareness. Some ideas are posting a photo of your baby dressed entirely in blue or your baby holding a sign that says “Light It Up Blue.”
How can I win? An esteemed panel of FuzziBunz judges will select three finalists and on Monday, April 9, we will post the three finalists’ pictures on our Facebook page and let you – our fans – vote for their favorite. We will announce the winner on the FuzziBunz blog the following day and the winner will have 48 hours to respond to claim her prize.
The winner will receive two free FuzziBunz diapers, one choice FuzziBunz accessory and a Q+A feature on the FuzziBunz blog.
