FuzziBunz to Co-Host New Orleans Site for “The Great Cloth Diaper Change”

As you may know, the cloth diapering community has banded together to celebrate Earth Day, babies and cloth diapers as it attempts to set a world record for the number of diapers changed at the same time. All the diapers changed will be cloth diapers, including FuzziBunz, the original modern cloth diaper!

On April 23, 2011 at 11 am CDT the international cloth diapering community will set the record for most diapers changed simultaneously at 300+ different locations in 10 countries worldwide. Everyone is welcome to participate and can find a host location by checking The Great Diaper Change website and click on “Find a Location.”

Many of you asked how FuzziBunz will be involved in The Great Diaper Change event. Here are some answers to those questions.

FuzziBunz is proudly co-sponsoring a venue at Audubon Park at the Pavilion in New Orleans, Louisiana – our hometown. We will be teaming with local cloth diaper and FuzziBunz retailer, ZukaBaby. ZukaBaby is a natural parenting boutique located in the heart of New Orleans. Anyone want to join us at Audubon park for the event? You’ll get to meet FuzziBunz inventor, Tereson Dupuy.

Tereson told me that she is thrilled to be a part of this exciting time in cloth diapering. She said she had never imagined that the world record for most diapers changed simultaneously would be accomplished with cloth diapers. She says she hopes this event will help new moms realize that cloth diapering is cool again and nothing like diapers of yesteryear.

According to The Great Diaper Change organizers, 7,000+ babies and counting are expected to be changed by a cloth diaper in one single instance on April 23. We sure hope your baby will be included in the historic count! See you then!
