From Tereson:
The Dress: First I set my season outfit based on if the New Orleans Saints win a game or not. So far we are 0-1 so I am not committed to any particular part of my dress. However, it always consists of the following staples:
- Saints Jersey – Number 12 – Colston
- “Who Dat” earrings – one says “Who” the other says “Dat”
- My Saints scrunchy to hold my hair out of my face while screaming at the TV (don’t judge, I love my scrunchy!)
These are a MUST in my game day attire whether in the Superdome or at home.
Once the Saints win their first game, nothing of the attire, including shoes and underwear, are substituted for the remainder of the season. Oh, and yes, I have “Game Day” underwear… I am a die hard Who Dat!
The Food: On game days the kitchen is active with the cooking of the Gumbo! My children all ask constantly, “When will it be ready?” but they all know it is for AFTER the game is over.
The Bubbly: Last, there is always a chilled bottle of “bubbles” in the fridge. We toast if we win and we drown our sorrows if we loose. Either way there are always bubbles at the end of the game, which gives us something to look forward to.
